BART delayed by ‘major medical emergency’ at Civic Center Station

BART service from San Francisco to the East Bay was delayed Wednesday night after a man experienced a “major medical emergency” at Civic Center station, the transit agency said.

At about 8 p.m., the transit agency announced that the emergency delayed service to the East Bay by about 20 minutes. The delay was still impacting BART at 8:40 p.m.
