Bay Area man charged with manufacturing ‘arsenal’ of ghost guns from his bedroom

An 18-year-old in San Jose is facing charges for manufacturing a “ghost gun arsenal” in his bedroom, prosecutors for the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office said Thursday.

Jacob Reyes did not enter a plea when he was arraigned Thursday afternoon on felony charges of possession of a machine gun and charges related to unlicensed manufacturing of firearms using a 3D printer, officials said.

Near his sneaker collection, Reyes amassed another collection: 27 finished or near-finished guns in his room, made possible by two working 3D weapon printers, prosecutors said…
