Bay Area’s first T&T Supermarket opening likely delayed again

(KRON) — The highly-anticipated opening of Asian grocer T&T Supermarket has been delayed once again. The Canada-based retailer’s first Bay Area location in San Jose is now “likely” opening this summer, Emily Chu, marketing specialist at T&T Supermarket, tells KRON4.

The grand opening is slated for sometime this spring and summer, according to Chu. The opening date has not been finalized.

When the initial announcement of T&T’s opening in the Bay Area was made in early 2025, the grocer aimed to open in fall of 2025. That October, T&T Supermarket CEO Tina Lee said construction issues forced the opening of the San Jose store, located at 1600 Saratoga Ave., to be pushed to spring 2026…
