A heartbreaking accident unfolded in San Francisco on Friday night, leaving a family devastated and a community shaken.
At approximately 9 p.m., officers with the San Francisco Police Department responded to reports of a vehicle collision near 4th and Channel streets. When authorities arrived, they discovered that an adult and a 2-year-old child had been struck by a vehicle.
