At approximately 8:43pm on February 28th, 2026, police, firefighters, and San Mateo County Sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of a vehicle struck by a train near Dollar Avenue and South Linden Avenue in South San Francisco.
Upon arrival, crews located a heavily damaged vehicle near the tracks with at least one occupant outside of the car. One patient was transported to a nearby hospital with injuries that were not immediately disclosed.
