Fogo de Chão Looks to Open in Daly City

Fogo de Chão, the internationally recognized Brazilian steakhouse known for its churrasco style dining, is looking to open a new location in Daly City at 1 Serramonte Center, Suite B.

The company recently submitted a liquor license application to open in the current Macy’s location at Serramonte Center. While an exact opening timeline has not yet been confirmed, the filing signals plans for the brand to enter the Daly City market. Customers can expect Fogo de Chão’s signature tableside carved meats and a large selection of market-style sides and salads.

Fogo de Chão was founded in Porto Alegre, Brazil, in 1979 and expanded to the United States in 1997. The brand has since grown into a global restaurant company with dozens of locations across the U.S., Latin America, and the Middle East. The concept centers on the Brazilian tradition of churrasco, where premium cuts of meat are roasted over an open flame and served continuously by gaucho chefs.
