SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — An investigation is underway after a bicyclist was struck by a vehicle in the city’s Inner Sunset neighborhood Friday afternoon, according to San Francisco police and fire officials.

SFPD said officers responded just after 3 p.m. on Irving Street near 7th and 8th avenues to investigate a report of a collision involving a vehicle and a bicyclist.
SFPD said officers arrived at the scene and located a female victim. The woman was taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries, which SFFD described to KRON4 as “traumatic.”
