SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A driver who killed a family of four, including two babies, at a San Francisco bus stop was sentenced by a judge on Friday.
Mary Fong Lau, 80, was speeding and weaving into on-coming traffic when her Mercedes SUV plowed into a bus stop at Muni Metro West Portal Station on March 16, 2024, investigators said.
Diego Cardoso de Oliveira, his wife, Matilde Pinto, their 1-year-old baby, Joaquin, and 2-month-old infant, Caue, were waiting for the bus to take a trip to the San Francisco Zoo. The entire family was killed in the bus stop crash…
