South of Market stabbing victim identified

A 37-year-old man was fatally stabbed at a supportive housing unit in SoMa

The San Francisco Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim of a fatal stabbing that occurred March 13 in the South of Market neighborhood as 37-year-old Toti Anamani, Jr.

The incident took place at the Plaza Apartments at Howard and Sixth Streets, according to residents interviewed by Mission Local. The building is a supportive housing unit for people with disabilities and people who have experienced homelessness, and is funded by the San Francisco Department of Public Health’s Direct Access to Housing program, according to the property manager’s website…
