WASHINGTON — San Francisco firefighters rescued a woman clinging to an oceanside cliff last week while waves crashed below her, all caught on video that has been viewed more than a million times.
Days later, the woman who was rescued — Maxime Rancourt, of San Francisco — is sharing her story.
Rancourt told local station KGO that her ordeal started when she went for a swim at Kelly’s Cove, on the city’s northwest side. But conditions quickly changed, and a violent current pulled her into deeper water…
