A Southern Humboldt family already reeling from multiple tragedies is now asking the community for help as their wife and mother, Robyn English, is in critical condition at a San Francisco hospital.
According to her husband, Chad Springer, the past year and a half has brought one hardship after another for their family.
“We lost our oldest son, Chad Lee, back November 21, 2024,” Springer said. “Then we lost our house and 8 acres in March of 2025. Robyn was diagnosed with cancer in June 2025. She finished chemo and radiation treatment in November 2025 and has gradually declined since then. It’s been a hard road for us this past year and a half to say the least.”…
