Cops Nab Susie Way Shooting Suspect After Overnight Manhunt From South City To East Bay

What started as a terrifying wake-up call for a South San Francisco family turned into a multi-agency manhunt that stretched into the East Bay, with officers ultimately arresting a primary suspect on attempted murder charges.

South San Francisco police say shots were fired into an occupied apartment on the 300 block of Susie Way last Wednesday. Multiple rounds hit the unit, narrowly missing two people inside, including a small child who was asleep in bed. No injuries were reported, but police are treating the case as an attempted murder.
