S.F. man arrested on suspicion of killing pedestrian in South of Market hit-and-run

A 30-year-old driver was arrested on suspicion of killing a pedestrian in a hit-and-run in San Francisco’s South of Market neighborhood on Monday, authorities said.

Police said Valentino Cash Amil of San Francisco fled in a vehicle after striking a pedestrian at the corner of Mission Street and South Van Ness Boulevard around 3:23 p.m.
