Vigil planned for Bay Area coffee shop owner missing since March

A vigil will be held Monday night for a coffee shop owner who has been missing for two months.

Amy Hillyard, 52, co-owner of Farley’s coffee shops, was last seen on March 25 in two Oakland locations: first in the 500 block of Radnor Road in the Cleveland Heights neighborhood about 2 p.m., and then she was spotted on video at Dimond Park at about 4:30 p.m., according to police.

A March 31 search of Dimond Park was carried out by OPD along with the Alameda, Contra Costa and Marin county sheriff’s offices, and 60 of Hillyard’s friends, family and volunteers…
