On Friday, the 2026 Alameda County Fair opens to the public. At this year’s rendition of the fair, people will get to eat their favorite fair foods, enjoy carnival rides, and check out a wide assortment of animals, including racing pigs.
The fair, located in Pleasanton, is also bringing in new attractions and points of interest at the fair including a 9/11 memorial area with a beam from the original Twin Towers.
“We’re celebrating the 250th anniversary of the United States, there’s a lot of Americana decor, you’ll see that reflected as you walk around. A big part of that was the 9/11 memorial which we built right near the grandstands,” said fair spokesperson Liz Rosinski…
