SAN JOSE, Calif. (KRON) — A man who is charged with murdering his estranged wife followed her to the San Jose Police Department when she sought help from police just three months before her death, court records show.
Maria Vanegasparra, 45, was attacked and stabbed at an apartment on Descanso Drive in San Jose on June 11. “Before the victim died, she told investigators that Aguileramora was her attacker,” prosecutors wrote.
Vanegasparra endured extreme stalking from her estranged husband, 46-year-old Pablo Andres Aguileramora, leading up to the homicide, according to a police report filed in Santa Clara County Superior Court.
