With eight-time champion Tia-Clair Toomey-Orr absent from the field, many analysts and fans anticipated an open and highly unpredictable race for the women’s crown. Instead, Cringle brought a dominant package reminiscent of Toomey’s prime to control the leaderboard from start to finish. Taking the overall lead on day one, Cringle consistently expanded her point lead across every test of strength, skill, and endurance, leaving no room for any upsets in the final moments of the competition.
