(KRON) — A wildfire burning in the South Bay has grown to 283 acres as of Monday evening.
The Mines Fire in Santa Clara County first started Sunday afternoon and quickly grew to 132 acres. Cal Fire officials had previously announced that forward progress on the fire — dubbed the “Mines Fire” — had stopped on Sunday evening.
