Tech company buys South Bay campus in deal that could enable expansion

SANTA CLARA — A tech company has bought a South Bay office campus in a deal that could leave it poised to expand its local operations after it acquired the property at a price discount.

A subsidiary of electronics manufacturer Fabrinet has paid $76.9 million to purchase a three-building tech complex in Santa Clara, documents filed on July 29 with the Santa Clara County Recorder’s Office show.
