(KRON)— A man who’s accused of breaking into someone’s garage and stealing a bicycle in Los Altos is in jail. The incident occurred Saturday morning on Summerhill Road.
Police said the suspect got out of the area using the bike before officers arrived.
They eventually found him hiding in bushes after surrounding the neighborhood. Officers say the suspect was an unhoused man from Nevada.
Police recovered the stolen bike and other property they believe belongs to other victims. The suspect was booked into Santa Clara County Jail on burglary and theft-related charges…
