NEWARK — The Courtyard Newark Silicon Valley hotel in Newark was bought for $12 million, documents filed on Sept. 23 with the Alameda County Recorder’s Office show.
San Mateo-based Stay Cal Hospitality, through an affiliate, acquired the hotel and obtained $13.2 million in financing from Commercial Bank of California at the time of the purchase, county records show.
