A Caltrans worker was struck by a driver in a Tesla on Interstate 680 in San Jose Tuesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported at about 9:56 a.m. on the right shoulder of northbound I-680 just north of McKee Road.
Authorities said the Tesla was facing the wrong direction on the shoulder and had a missing tire. A Caltrans worker was reported injured, and an ambulance was requested, according to the CHP dispatch log…
