Alameda County prosecutors charged an East Bay woman in an alleged assault on a Newark City Council member, who shared details about the attack on social media earlier this week.
Council Member Eve Marie Little said in a Facebook post Thursday she was “viciously attacked” on Oct. 25 by a stranger while speaking to constituents in a local park. The woman jumped Little from behind and repeatedly punched her in the face, the council member said in the post.
