SANTA CRUZ, Calif. – A twelve-story redwood tree on the corner of Lincoln and Walnut Avenue in Santa Cruz will soon be coming down. Santa Cruz City Council supported the motion 6-1 on Tuesday to cut down the redwood, which was causing damage to both public and private property.
