A tragic turn of events unfolded after a collision last year between a car and a bicyclist in San Jose, resulting in the city’s third traffic fatality of 2024. As per the San Jose Police Department, on June 25, 2023, at around 3:26 PM, a silver Lexus made contact with a bicyclist at the intersection of N. 13th Street and E. Santa Clara Street, leading to critical injuries for the rider.
