Suspect wanted in attempted murder by Santa Clara County Sheriff arrested

( KRON ) — A suspect in connection to an attempted murder was arrested, the Santa Clara County Sheriff (SCCS) announced Thursday on social media. Christopher Croul has been sought after by authorities since Saturday .

SCCS warned the public that an outstanding Croul was “armed and considered dangerous.”

Croul was taken into custody for attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon and discharge of a firearm at an occupied vehicle.

On that Saturday night, the sheriff’s office called off the search for Croul near Mt. Madonna Park because of weather-related conditions. He was eventually found and arrested a few days later.
