Woman arrested in Campbell for alleged mail theft

( KRON ) – A woman was arrested after being in possession of burglary tools along with various bank cards and mail belonging to other people, the Campbell Police Department said.

At 3:16 p.m. on Jan. 26, the San Jose Police Department alerted the Campbell Police Department of a Flock hotlist vehicle that entered Campbell associated with a recent mail theft in San Jose.

Campbell officers located the vehicle and initiated a violation stop. According to police, two out of the three occupants were out on bail from recent arrests.

Brandi French, 22, was one of the occupants. According to police, French was in possession of USPS keys, controlled substances, burglary tools, various bank cards, mail and other personally identifiable information belonging to other people.

The trunk was also full of various supplies purchased at Staples with a stolen credit card, police said.

French was arrested and booked in the Santa Clara County Jail.
