The San José Police Department (SJPD) has arrested a suspect linked to a 2023 homicide. The incident occurred on December 30, 2023, around 7:26 PM, near Calle De Guadalupe and Plaza De Guadalupe. The victim, a male resident of San José, was found with a gunshot wound and later died in a local hospital.
The suspect, 35-year-old Bonifascio Limon, also from San José, was arrested on February 1, 2024. His arrest was a result of a joint effort by various units within the SJPD. Limon was located using surveillance cameras and was arrested at a San José residence.
After his arrest, Limon was charged with homicide and held at the Santa Clara County Main Jail. This arrest followed a detailed investigation by the SJPD Homicide Detectives, who identified Limon as the suspect and secured a warrant for his arrest.
