A brazen daylight bank robbery attempt in Gilroy ended with an arrest days later in Garden Grove, thanks to the efficient work of both city police departments, officials said. On February 3, Gilroy police were called to the scene of an attempted heist at around 2:26 p.m., when a man threatened a teller with a note. Despite the scare, the suspect, wearing a gray jacket, facemask, and glasses fled the scene before grabbing any cash.
