Owner of popular San Jose doughnut shop accused of selling ‘pink cocaine’

SAN JOSE, Calif. – The owner of a popular Bay Area doughnut franchise was arrested last month on suspicion of selling “pink cocaine,” police said. The 32-year-old San Jose resident, Luis Carrillo-Moyeda, is the owner of one of the Yum Yum Donut shops in San Jose, according to Santa Clara County records. Carrillo-Moyeda is accused of making and selling illegal drugs out of the shop at 400 Blossom Hill Road, the San Jose Police Department said in a Wednesday news release.
