Kamie Ethridge ‘happy with effort,’ but ‘turnovers hurt us’ in WSU’s 73-58 loss to Stanford

PULLMAN — The intensity and fire were there but Washington State was unable in the end to overcome Stanford on Super Bowl Sunday. The Cougars led by as many as nine early and trailed by just two at the start of the final quarter, but the Cardinal eventually took over en route to a 73-58 decision, WSU’s fourth-straight loss and 74th all-time to Stanford.
