( KRON ) — Embarcadero Road in Palo Alto was closed Monday night as police investigated a fatal crash, the Palo Alto Police Department said.
The road is closed between Middlefield Drive and Walnut Drive. PAPD posted about the fatal crash on X at 10:25 p.m.
Police advise taking alternate routes to avoid traffic.
As of Monday night, the number of people killed or injured in the crash was unknown. Police will release more information about the crash on Tuesday.
