( KRON ) – The Mountain View Police Department announced on X that its non-emergency phone number is experiencing issues.

For non-emergencies, MVPD advises residents to use the phone number (650) 448-9858.
For emergencies, 9-1-1 is working properly, Mountain View PD said.
