What Gonzaga coach Mark Few said after win over Santa Clara: ‘Our offense was clicking at a really, really high level’

Before they could look ahead to a pivotal final week of the regular season, the Gonzaga Bulldogs had quite the fight on their hands on Saturday in their 94-81 win over the Santa Clara Broncos .

“They gave us everything they got there,” said Mark Few after the game. “I mean we had our hands full and had a real problem, especially in the first half stopping them. But, fortunately for us, our offense was clicking at a really, really high level. But yeah, [Santa Clara] is a really, really good basketball team.”

On Dusty Stromer’s performance:

“It was a great night. In fact I told the team afterward that that’s the guy we recruited. That’s the guy who started the year for us, making plays like that, and just doing everything. And that’s the beauty of Dusty, it’s not just 3s it’s the flying around getting putbacks, making plays on defense. Just doing everything, he fills the box.”
