Northern California forecast: Wildfire smoke impacts air quality as temperatures stay warm

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Wildfire smoke is affecting air quality in some parts of Northern California on Friday as temperatures remain on the warmer side. Meteorologist Tamara Berg said Friday’s forecast high for downtown Sacramento will be 99 degrees, a slight increase from Thursday’s high temperature of 96 degrees. The average for this time of year is 94 degrees.
