CAPITOLA, CALIF. (KION-TV)- Capitola Police arrested one person for a number of charges that include evading police. On August 9th at around 7:50 p.m., according to officials, an officer was on 41st Avenue and Gross Road and when noticed the male driver of a gray truck trying to challenge another car to a race. The driver noticed the officer and tried to do a burnout before speeding away.
