( KRON ) — A bicyclist was killed after being hit by a car in downtown Redwood City on Aug. 16, the Redwood City Police Department said Thursday.
RCPD responded to Arch Street and Broadway at 6:34 p.m. for the crash. The bicyclist was unconscious, and they were taken to a hospital where they later died.

The driver stayed at the scene and is cooperating with police. Drugs and/or alcohol are not believed to be factors.
