( KRON ) — A white sedan struck a tree and flipped over in Campbell on Monday evening. The city’s police department said an “underaged, unlicensed driver” was behind the wheel.
The crash happened at about 5:46 p.m. on southbound Winchester Boulevard near Chapman Drive.
A 15-year-old without a valid driver’s permit was driving the car, but an adult woman was in the passenger seat. She was hospitalized and is now in stable condition, Campbell police said.
Police are still investigating the cause of the crash.
“We encourage everyone to drive responsibly and always ensure that drivers are properly licensed,” Campbell police said.
