Dublin, Calif. – Ross Stores has completed its CEO succession search to replace outgoing chief executive Barbara Rentler in early 2025. The off-price retail company has appointed James Conroy to run the company when Rentler, who is also vice chair, officially steps down as CEO on Feb. 2 and moves into an advisory role. He will join Ross on Dec. 2 as CEO-elect, reporting to executive chairman Michael Balmuth. Conroy will also join the board of directors in December.
