Man goes missing out of Alameda County

( KRON ) — The Alameda County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man who has been missing since Dec. 14.

Brian Mello, 47, had been staying with his sister in San Lorenzo when he disappeared. Her home is on Via Cordoba.

San Jose police investigating Christmas Day hate vandalism

Mello, a Humboldt County native, had stayed there for a few weeks when he left the home on Dec. 14 and never returned. He has no other friends or family in Alameda County, authorities say.

Mello is 5-foot-10, 180 pounds with hazel eyes and blond hair. He was last seen wearing a black beanie hat, a red Spider-Man hoodie, blue Spider-Man sweatpants and white shoes. he has tattoos on his calf that say “Cal Bear” and “Humboldt.”

Mello did not have a cell phone or money when he left. He is familiar with public transportation.
