PALO ALTO, Ca. — No. 21 NC State got back in the win column by trouncing Stanford 81-67 in Maples Pavilion Jan. 12.
Aziaha James and Zoe Brooks got into foul trouble early but some help from the bench paved the way with a dominant second half for the Pack (12-4, 4-1 ACC). The red and white outscored Stanford (9-7, 1-4) after halftime en route to a dominant victory. Saniya Rivers recorded her fourth double double of the season with 17 points and 11 boards, leading the team in both categories. All five starters also finished with double digit points.
