( KRON ) — A body was found inside a minivan parked on the shoulder of Highway 101 in San Mateo Wednesday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP). CHP received a call at 2:10 p.m. about a medical emergency involving a vehicle on the right shoulder of Highway 101’s southbound lanes north of Highway 92.
Crews arrived at the scene and found a deceased adult in the backseat of a Toyota Sienna minivan, CHP said. Authorities said Thursday that no foul play was suspected in the death.
