VTA train collides with truck — passengers injured

A passenger-carrying light rail train and a box truck collided Thursday afternoon in San Jose, injuring at least three people, officials said.

A Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority train traveling on First Street collided with the truck near the intersection with Charcot Avenue, said Stacey Hendler Ross, a spokesperson for the transit agency.
