Jason D. Johnson has been appointed undersecretary of operations at the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation.
A Redlands resident, Johnson has been the department’s acting undersecretary of operations since last year, and has held several positions in that agency during the past 20 years, according to a statement on Gov., Gavin Newsom’s website.
Before joining the corrections and rehabilitation department, Johnson was a probation officer at San Bernardino County Probation Department from 2001 to 2006.
