A driver was killed in Fremont this week when they were driving their car in the wrong direction and collided with an unoccupied semitruck trailer, police said Thursday.
Officers responded to the area of Fremont Boulevard and Decoto Road at about 9:05 a.m. Wednesday after the crash was reported, police said. Officers and firefighters found the driver of the car at the scene and determined they had died after suffering “massive injuries” in the crash, police said.
