Woman found dead in 1981 identified as an Oakland grandmother. Now, they’re looking for her killer

The woman’s dismembered body was found in an empty field in San Jose in 1981, with few clues about who she was.

On Tuesday, the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office announced that investigators identified her thanks to DNA and genealogy.
