San Jose, Calif., to Convert Shuttered Retail Space to Tech Campus

(TNS) — A big building expected to become the start of a massive tech campus in San Jose that’s slated to sprout on the site of a long-shuttered retail outlet has won final approval from city officials.

Super Micro Computer has won approval from top city planners for a building that totals 333,400 square feet and would be the first stage of what could eventually be a tech campus where a Fry’s Electronics store once operated.

This initial structure would be a three-story warehouse and manufacturing building that would sprout at 550 East Brokaw Road in San Jose…
