Pac-12 prefers 5 + 11 CFP expansion model

The Pac-12 does not have a vote in the CFP’s revamped governing structure, but the conference has a “strong preference” for the 5 + 11 model, one of two formats “under consideration for 2026 and beyond,” according to Jon Wilner of the San Jose MERCURY NEWS. Pac-12 Commissioner Teresa Gould said the “at-large model is the right one.
