The suspect in a public indecency case on a Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority bus has been identified and subsequently arrested. 28-year-old Carlos Cruz Varela of San Jose was apprehended after a social media appeal for public assistance led to several tips regarding the June 11 incident. Cruz Varela is accused of exposing himself to passengers and then assaulting the bus driver before disembarking at S. King Road and Tully Road, as per an announcement from the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office.
