San José police have made arrests in connection with an armed robbery involving two juveniles. The incident, which occurred on May 21, took a dangerous turn when one suspect allegedly fired at the young victim after taking luxury shoes he intended to sell.
The San José Police Department (SJPD) released a statement detailing the event on the 400 block of Saratoga Avenue. The juvenile victim met the suspects online to sell two pairs of luxury shoes. During their meeting, one suspect reportedly brandished a firearm and, after seizing the shoes, fired shots as they fled. No injuries were reported.
The SJPD Robbery Unit Detectives led a comprehensive investigation in the weeks following the robbery.
